The AsviLoc project "Integration among Local Development Agencies to promote territories and SMEs systems in Adriatic Cross Border Regions - AsviLoc " was realised within the framework of the Interreg III A programme.

The project's objective was to stimulate development and the economic and social reconstruction of the Adriatic littoral through the strengthening of cooperation among small and medium-sized businesses. The project planned to realize this through the promotion and integration of regional development agencies that would act as a link, that would concentrate  knowledge and practices and would act as the basic orientation and promotional element of the system of local small and medium-sized enterprises.

The implementation of the AsviLoc project was also based on the existence of significant socio-economic, linguistic, legal-regulatory and infrastructural barriers between the entrepreneurial systems of the two Adriatic shores.

The leader of this project with a budget of 552.182,14 € was Sviluppo Marche (Italy). Its implementation started in July 2007 and it lasted 13 months.
