The "GO NETWORK" project, led by the Italian region of Veneto, brought together guarantee organizations from the CADSES region, aiming to establish a network of guarantee organizations. The project was set up with the goal of improving companies' access to financial and banking services and devising of innovative financial instruments supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The GO NETWORK was focused on Credit Guarantee Organizations (CGO) and/or institutions which offered SMEs easier access to loans.

During 2005, the Istrian Development Agency (IDA) Ltd. found project partners for the establishment of a pilot project of a new guarantee scheme in Istria, thus securing a packet worth 300,000.00 €.

The implementation of the project started in April 2004 and was completed in September 2006 with a closing conference in Venice. The total project budget was 2.235.200,00 €, and the Istrian Development Agency participated in the project in kind.
