SMART INNO project, Smart Network and Sustainable Innovation Cluster to increase RDI Competitiveness of SMEs in the Adriatic was nominated under the second contest of the IPA Adriatic CBC 2007-2013 and started the implementation of 1 November 2013.

The project leader is the Province of Rimini and the other partners in the project are the Istrian Development Agency, Unioncamere Veneto, Friuli Innovazione, Science Park Technopolis, SIPRO Ferrara, Pesaro innovation agency, the Directorate for Development of SMEs Montenegro, Regional Chamber of Commerce Uzice, Economy Serbian Chamber of Commerce, RDA of Inner Karst, RRA Koper, Maritime Technology Park Nova Gorica, LIR Banja Luka, University of Juraj Dobrila Pula, Atlantis Consulting, ERFC Greece, Albania AULEDA.

The project duration is 28 months.

The total project value is € 5,046,560.64, of which IDA intended 227,245.52 euros. Of these € 227,245.52, the EU co-finances 85%, or € 193,158.67, while co-financing by the IDA is 15%, € 34,086.82.

The main objective of the project is to improve and increase the innovation potential of the Adriatic region through connecting institutions on both sides of the Adriatic Sea, through the development of smart specialization strategies, the establishment of Adriatic cross-border networks of angels.

Activities IDA within the project are:
