Coworking Pula

Preparations are underway for the project for the construction and establishment of the COWORKING Center in Pula, as one of the strategic projects of the development strategy of the Pula urban area, which will be financed through the ITU mechanism, estimated at HRK 20 million.

In September 2018, the Government of the Republic of Croatia recognized the significance of the project and on the basis of the idea designed on the initiative of IDA, donated to the City of Pula an abandoned building in the center of Pula, which will be refurbished and upgraded to serve in its new capacity with the aim of strengthening the entrepreneurial environment. The focus is on creating a favorable entrepreneurial climate for new investments, innovations and the deployment of new technologies, and in addition to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, an emphasis is put on freelancers whose network is growing and has been recognized by relevant institutions within the European Union. Based on that, the entrepreneurship center will be a key place for gathering or creating an entrepreneurial community in the Pula urban area and beyond.
